Fitzgerald River National Park is a biologically rich destination located between the towns of Bremer Bay and Hopetoun in Western Australia. Spanning over 743,000 acres, the park boasts over 1,800 plant species, including rare orchids and unique flowering plants, some of which are found nowhere else on Earth. The geography of the area includes rugged coastal cliffs, pristine beaches, wide estuaries, and mountainous terrain, particularly the prominent Barrens Range. The park offers a multitude of recreational opportunities such as hiking, bird watching, and exploring its diverse ecosystems. Established in 1973, Fitzgerald River National Park is recognized for its exceptional conservation value, being part of the UNESCO-listed Fitzgerald Biosphere Reserve.
